How to use
Paste or type your text, then select Transform. The italic version replaces the input and stays in this browser tab until you copy or download it.
Example
Input: “Italic text”. Output: “𝐼𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑐 𝑡𝑒𝑥𝑡”. Letters become mathematical italic symbols. Digits have no italic equivalent and stay unchanged.
Uses
Use italic Unicode letters for emphasis in social posts, elegant profile names, book or film titles in plain-text fields, and chat messages.
Limitations
The output uses mathematical symbols, not real italic styling, and digits never change. Screen readers may spell out symbol names, and some fonts or platforms may not display every letter. Avoid it for long or essential text.
Local privacy
Your input and result are processed locally on this device. Convertca does not put tool text in URLs, analytics, or saved histories.
Task-specific guidance
Italic symbols work best for a single word or short phrase. Combine with the bold text tool when a platform offers no styling at all.
FAQ
Why do numbers stay the same? Unicode defines no italic digits, so the tool leaves them untouched instead of inventing characters that would not render.
